Kathy Flitcroft

Dr Kathy Flitcroft is a research fellow from Breast & Surgical Oncology at The Poche Centre in North Sydney. She is a health policy researcher who, in a former life, was a registered nurse in Melbourne. Her qualifications include an undergraduate degree in behavioural sciences from LaTrobe University, a masters degree in government, a graduate certificate in health policy, and a PhD in public health from the University of Sydney. Kathy’s main research interests are the translation of evidence in public health policy, particularly bowel and breast cancer policy, and equity in health services. She is currently running a project on Improving Breast Reconstruction Equity of Access through Stakeholder consultation and Translation in policy and practice (I-BREAST).
