The Shine a Light Support Group for gay or bi men with cancer is the only support group of its kind in Australia. Formed over 7 years ago as a Prostate Cancer Support Group for Gay or Bi Men, it has changed to offering support to gay or bi men with any form of cancer. This presentation will provide a brief history of the group and outline the development of specific gay or bi men's resources by the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. I will also be outlining the unique psychosocial needs of gay or bi men living with or survivors of cancer and present a model for working with them
